Julian Munby worked at Oxford Archaeology for 30 years on historic buildings and landscapes and has spent even longer researching the history of Levens garden in Westmorland. In this talk Julian will share his latest researches including on Rousham, Blenheim and Nuneham that are not well known (e.g. 30 vols of papers about the building of Blenheim that have been in the British Library for almost 200 years; and an enormous quantity of Nuneham material now in the Bodleian). You will also learn about the curious story of the disappearance of the amazing Trinity College garden.
