Social event at St. Katharine’s, Parmoor, Frieth,
Henley-on-Thames, RG9 6NN

We invite you to a social event with Berkshire and Buckinghamshire Gardens Trusts, in the recently restored Walled Garden at St Katharine’s, a Retreat House owned by the Sue Ryder Prayer Fellowship, and situated in beautiful grounds near Henley-on-Thames.   Maximum 100.

Cost: £15 members, £20 guests.

Time: 2 30pm – welcome and glass of Prosecco or soft drink, followed by a short introduction to the restoration over the last 12 years. Then, in small groups, there will be tours around the garden to explain the restoration, with particular attention to the vine house which is magnificent.

Tea, coffee and cake will be available in the afternoon

There will be an half zoom talk on Thursday 18th July at 6 00pm free for everyone.  Claire de Carle will talk about the history of the house and gardens.  The zoom link will be sent out in plenty of time before the event.  If you have not booked on the event but want to hear the zoom talk please contact felix.lam45@gmail.com and I will arrange for the link to be available for you.
