Vale of the White Horse

The Vale extends from Abingdon in the East to Shrivenham in the West. The other principal towns are Wantage and Faringdon. Numerous smaller settlements are located along the spring line of the chalk hills. The downs are included within the North Wessex Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
